I loved the Rouge Trader segment, found it very interesting. I have wanted to build my own gaming table for the longest time, but I just haven't out of having a lack of people to play near me (Have to drive 40 minutes to the bunker for games.) I do want to do that because with my current work schedule, I can only play a little bit on friday night and on the weekend when the store's open. I'd love to be able to do an all-night gaming session (without the stinky ankle biters at the bunker during their 48 hours of gaming).

Ian was quite funny, but his temperament seemed to be that of a 14 year old girl. I suppose it comes with the territory for learning the game and such, but it was still quite funny.

Lay off of Ian! Ian is what I wanted my show persona to be until I took myself too seriously! Not to make a negative comment about myself, but I wanted to get what we were doing right before I relaxed.

He grated on me at first....then I only took for the laugh factor and his WTF moments.

I wasn't trying to hate on Ian or anything like that. I thought Ian has consistently added a fun side to the show, the only thing I thought was annoying was him going on and on during the last podcast about the game he played. The complaining for a while was overriding what other people were trying to say. Hence that is why I said that his temperament seemed like a whiny kid, but that's probably just more of a result of a bad game/day/week.

I didn't mean any offense at Ian, I was commenting on my amusement at that portion of the show and how I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I liked it. I resently got some space to put up a gaming table. So I was OFC interested n that. And it was nice to hear how you can play an adventure in RT.

Yes, Ian definitely makes the show. His rant about using Trukks is a classic.

"Death Carriages" indeed.....

Wow EP 66! I think you guys will be the first to hit the triple digits for a Warhammer podcast good luck with that; another great show but please dont be so concern about the length of the show. I would prefer if the show ran longer or you could incorporate prerecord stuff like a PiSS segment anything really along those line.

@Skrivus
I doubt that Ian is even on the forums if he is ninja-ing around here then ' fuck you Ian go sux some balls' :twisted:

Rogue Trader Segments is interesting but as some one who has never played uh... live action rpg :?: (i dont even know how to categorize this type of game) whatever it may be I do understand the concept vaguely so to garner more information i download the PDF version of both Dark Heresy an Rogue Trader; to my surprise this thing is 400pg long each :shock: the hell ? I imagine that these abundance of rules are intended for the Game Master (suck to be you Mack) but either way its a little over whelming.

Let me also say that from what ive heard was that RT book were packed full of art I went into this thinking ill see some new art but only a single handful of non re-use art was actually included the rest was a wall of text

haha, well since I'm like 2000 miles away from him and basing this entirely off of nothing...I could take him in a 40k game and failing that, a fistfight :D . Who wouldn't want to see one of the Chicago DLT crew fighting one of the West Coast Crew? Put it up on the live podcast? That'd be something for like the 100th episode.

Just been listening to the latest episode and really enjoyed it.

It's interesting how DLT has sort of drifted a bit away from mainstream 40k, discussing building Mack's new table (saw the photos on Facebook and love it!), the course of a campaign and, of course, 40k-based roleplaying. As this pretty much charts my own relationship with 40k, this really holds my attention and I'd love to hear a recorded session of your Rogue Trader game.

I missed Chuck.
